- Lancing teaches A level English Literature, and the English department runs creative writing classes, poetry and essay competitions, reading groups, and theatre trips to the Globe, Chichester Festival Theatre and the National Theatre. Sixth Formers can also join the Theatre Royal Brighton Young Writers programme.

- At Lancing
- Lancing offers Business as a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate, taken alongside three A levels and counted as one A level equivalent. In the Lower Sixth the Lancing Enterprise programme has students running a business of their own, responsible for its finance, marketing and planning, and the Young Enterprise scheme runs alongside.

- At Lancing
- Lancing is a full boarding school for 13 to 18 year olds, and around fifty new Sixth Form boarders join each year. Houses are single sex and span all five year groups. The girls' boarding houses are Field's, Handford and Manor.
